Chicago Bites #86
Vermilion

Juh ki pan puri
When the juh ki pan puri arrived, we didn't know how to eat it let alone pronounce it.

Vermilion fuses Indian and Latin fare and features a separate menu especially for vegetarians. Intrigued, Tammy and I went there with friends for a multicultural Thanksgiving feast. Were the spicy combos enough to overshadow negligent service? Listen in and find out!

Is there such a thing as high-end Indian food, and if so, is the high-end price worth it? In this week's show, we venture to Marigold to answer both questions. Tune-in to hear about chutneys, sag paneer and the importance of paper product in your diet.

Show notes: The dessert we mention in the podcast but could not remember was ginger creme brulee. Apologies to all!
