
I'm a cosmopolitan eater who has tasted her way through restaurants in uptown, downtown and neighborhoods in between. I can no longer drink wine out of a box, but I'm still in favor of a good rootbeer float. When dining out, I'm at home savoring fries at McDonald's or caviar at Tru, but no matter where I'm eating, I follow one simple rule: try the specialty of the house!

Before we started this podcast, I had a tendency to eat at the same places over and over. I needed to expand my dining horizons and learn more about what it meant to dine and enjoy good food. After 100 podcasts about Chicago dining, I think my culinary adventures are just getting started.
