People behind Chicago Bites

Tammy Green has been eating for years, but didn’t discover her professional fascination with food until she started talking about it every week. As a result of Chicago Bites, she has expanded her interest in craft beer, food policy, gardening, canning, composting, organic issues, slow food, local producers and how these impact the Chicago dining experience. She’s found her restaurant knowledge to be the ultimate ice breaker.

Pattie Lee is an occasional contributor to the site and a frequent companion on dining adventures. So deep is her commitment to sugar, that she once drove to Los Angeles to drive through the Donut Hole for pastries. She’s that cool.

Karen Boykin usually describes herself as “Chicago Bites-adjacent” at food and beverage events, mostly working in an advisory or editorial capacity or sometimes just along for the foodie ride.
