Chocolate Croissant

Chocolate croissant goodness to start your day right.

Even though Chicago Bites’ Croissant Quest is long over, I keep spotting, and often sampling, croissants throughout the city. I picked up this chocolate-filled beauty at Grahamwich and thought the look of it might brighten this rainy day for you. The taste of it certainly hit the spot — a perfectly flakey, buttery outside housing a rich chocolate center. Yep. When it’s done right, you can’t go wrong.

NOTE: I’m told these croissants come from Fritz pastry. So, if you like, you can go directly to the source!

  1. @ChicagoBites pretty sure that’s a @FRITZPASTRY croissant. They supply all the yummy pastry. Correct me if I’m wrong…

  3. I still don’t like Fritz Pastry’s croissants, sorry. Totally disagree w/you here, B.

  5. @ChicagoBites I still think Beans & Bagels is the best chocolate croissant in the city!

  6. @geg5150 Many agree with you on Beans and Bagels — the pastry was too pretty not to feature though!

  7. @geg5150 Re: Beans & Bagels? Agree, totally the best croissants. -T
