Dining In on a Cold Winter’s Night? It’s time for Noon-O-Kabab.

Vegetable Curry and Hummus from Noon-O-Kabab

When my dinner plans got canceled, I decided to stay in and order from one of my favorite neighborhood spots, Noon-O-Kabab (previously reviewed by us here). Everything I order from “The Nooner” is just as awesome as the last time I had it, especially the hummus. Add a little curry stew over their dill rice? It’s a great way to beat the cold.

@ChicagoBites Do you prefer The Nooner over Semiramis? Semi’s is always my default. Love their lentils & rice dish and I’m not even veggie!

@geg5150 Love them both. Last night it came down to 2 things: being able to order online & dill rice. Otherwise, <3 Semiramis!

We live close to Noono and order from there relatively frequently. My brother was visiting and we were dithering between ordering Deep Dish Pizza or Something Else Entirely and I suggested Noono. He’d never had Persian food before so we dug out the menu, made our choices, and then were unable to call (it went to voicemail) or order online. Later I saw this post in passing. YOU BROKE NOONO. 🙂

It’s awesome seeing them get recognition. They’re really super great. We haven’t tried Semiramis yet, although I’ve heard really good things about them.

I use Grubhub to order from them. Find it’s easier than calling a lot of the time, particularly when I’m dithering about what I want. -T
