I enjoyed Opart’s Gaeng Gari so much, that I went back almost immediately for the Bami Pad Paak (#53, $6.99). I ordered carry-out on a slow night and got my food in less than five minutes, which was awesome. I’ll have to remember to call ahead if I go on the weekends.
The Bami Pad Paak is a thin noodle dish. It wasn’t nearly as flavorful as the curry, and there was a slightly vinegary aftertaste that I didn’t care for. On the plus side, the Bami Pad Paak was chock-full of veggies and tofu and filled me up nicely. I would call this solid comfort food, but wouldn’t be upset to see it disappear from the menu.
On my next visit to Opart Thai, I’ll be joined by @mikeandchaochow who have promised to help me make a dent in the menu. I can’t wait to meet the guys and try the soup!
