If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that is as good as snuff, then head over to Tre Kronor! This neighborhood-y restaurant serves up breakfast with distinct flavors: Danish blue cheese, Smoked Norwegian salmon, lingons, Falukorv sausage and Havarti. It’s a step above diner food, and they keep the prices on par with any of the city’s Golden diners.
Breakfast at Tre Kronor should always start with one of their house-made pastries. It’s hard to go wrong with a fruit-filled cinnamon roll topped with citrus-flavored icing. Balance out the sweet with a savory serving of hash and eggs or Kobenhavn omelet. You’ll walk out saying, “Det Smakar Gott!” A side-effect of eating an excellent Swedish breakfast? Perhaps.
Breakfast is generally less than $15 per person.
