Lao Sze Chuan – Midweek Food P0rn

Lao Sze Chuan | Spicey Asparagus

Asparagus diced and served as a spicy appetizer.

Want heaping plates of spicy Chinese food served fast? Make a stop at Lao Sze Chuan in Chinatown. There’s a nice selection of hot Szechuan cuisine as well as safer dishes like sweet and sour chicken for those who can’t take the heat. You can walk away stuffed for less than $15 a person.

@ChicagoBites I’ve only had Hot Pot at Lao Sze Chuan and it’s great! Glad they’re back open after the fire.

@geg5150 Yeah, me too. Like Lao Sze Chuan for the spicy stuff.

One of my favorite places in Chinatown. At dinner time, try to go in even numbered groups of 4 or more as they tend to favor groups that can fill a table.
