Caffee Gelato | Strawberry Gelato

The gelato is served with a flat spoon and crispy wafer.

If you’re looking for a dessert spot in between the children’s clothing stores, bars and yoga studios on Division, then it’s worth noting that Caffe Gelato is here. We tried four flavors at Caffe Gelato — mango, strawberry, coconut and chocolate — instead of getting dessert at a local sushi spot where we had dinner. They were all pretty decent with a nice creamy consistency. However, I felt they were a little on the pricey side. $4 for a small? Ach. There’s outdoor seating immediately in front of the store or you can take it to the sidewalk next to Division. YMMV as to whether or not that’s a good thing, but on this particularly cool Summer evening we had no complaints about it.
