Made it to NoMi for a late lunch reservation, but that didn’t matter — I would take any slot to try their $22 Restaurant Week menu. We started things off with a tasty roasted D’Anjou pear and endive salad and this stand-out butternut squash soup.
For our main course, we chose the chef’s choice of sushi which was a combination of california roll, tuna and salmon sashimi and the cubano panini, a tasty sandwich of roasted pork and homemade pickles.
We were going to try a mix of desserts, but neither of us wanted to pass up ‘La Religieuse’. The mix of caramel and hazelnut topped with gold leaf was truly a religious experience.
