Markethouse is a warm spot for lunch on a Winter day.

We continued our Restaurant Week adventures with the $22 lunch at Markethouse in Streeterville. It’s conveniently located for those who work downtown, or for those coming and going from the AMC Theater around the corner.

Markethouse | Hummus

Appetizers include garnishes of micro-greens.

The first of three courses included a choice of chop salad or hummus. Both featured fresh micro-greens and plentiful portions, so we got one of each.

Marketplace | Pulled Pork

The menu included items like this pulled pork sandwich.

We continued on to entrees and were treated to a light, lovely dish of fish and chips and this hearty pulled pork sandwich.

Markethouse | Bread Pudding

Don't even think about skipping dessert!

Dessert was the stand-out for us. We loved the molten chocolate cake with raspberry ice cream, but this butterscotch bread pudding was incredible. Who can resist rum-soaked raisins? Not us. We’ll be back.
