Fianco's trout is served with an accompaniment of flavors.
In our continuing quest for a Northside neighborhood spot that’s worth the money, we hit Fianco on Southport Avenue. Fianco has a lovely exposed-brick dining room with live jazz (on Thursday’s), that’s spacious to behold but a tight squeeze at the table. That would be workable if all their food was as good as their milk-braised pork, but unfortunately we found too many things that were too salty or just average. We think our quest will continue!
