I’m surprised that lately I’ve enjoyed sampling Belgian beer. Perhaps I’m developing an appreciation for a cold one, just as I have for a fine red.
But I’m interested in trying more American beer too. The other night I had some Rogue’s Dead Guy Ale. Brewed stateside, it isn’t too bitter or too sweet. It’s smooth and goes down easy. I originally ordered it because I liked the name, and I ended up liking the product just as much.
You can find Dead Guy Ale at Joey’s Brickhouse. Keep that in mind tomorrow. On Wednesday nights they have an excellent beer special – 24 oz for $3. Let me know what you think if you swing by for a sip. Or tweet @chicagobites if you have some good beer suggestions for us to try.
