Chicago Bites #98
Austin Round-up Part 1

Manuel's flan tastes as good as it looks
Bridget and I made an effort to eat our way through Austin during the SXSW festival. How did our choices stack up? Listen to part one of our Austin adventure to find out!
00:00 - 04:20 Kicking off with Manuel's - guacamole, mole, and flan
04:21 - 07:30 Chez Nous - French bistro in Texas
07:31 - 09:23 Old Pecan Street Cafe - it's all about the pie
09:24 - 11:09 Recap and Sign-off

The crepes at Chez Nous are a tasty option near the convention center.
Manuel's Downtown
310 Congress Ave.
Austin, Texas
We both say go! You get a lot for your money. Expect the tab to run between $30-$40.
Chez Nous
510 Neches Street
Austin, Texas
Split decision - Bridget likes the convenient location, but I think there are better options nearby. Expect to pay around $25.
Old Pecan Street Cafe
310 E 6th Street
Austin, Texas
We both say go, but only for the pecan pie! Lunch runs about $15.

Pecan pie is the thing to get at the Old Pecan Street Cafe.
