Lumes Pancake House | fruit-topped french toast
Lumes serves a generous portion of fruit with its French toast.

If you're heading south, stop by Lumes Pancake House for brunch! The service is fast, the coffee plentiful, and the orchard peach crepes make you wish you could eat breakfast three meals a day. We've been twice and can't wait to go back for more!

As a long time lurker, I just want to say that I really love your podcast. Even though I don't live in Chicago or anywhere near it, I still love hearing about the different places you dine and dream about going there too.
Thanks for the great podcasts and I am enjoying the new audio quality.

Thanks Rose! And thanks for noticing the change in production values. Once a year Bridget and I hunker down and try to improve the sound quality, and I think we may have actually achieved something good.

I can't remember if I mentioned that C and I went to Lumes prior to our most recent trip down to Bev-Art for bottling "A Noir Hope".

It was very good, although the waitress admitted the corned beef hash was not home made so I didn't order it.

Hawaiian omelette was very good, and C got the peach crepes which were tasty and bountiful.

But I guess I will have to go to the OPH a couple of blocks away for corned beef hash.
