Hi! Went to Crofton's in October 2007 (a few months before your review). Had the scallops and LOVED them. Perhaps its all about having them on the menu in the right season?

Please keep the reviews coming! Amy

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the time of year. It is not scallop season, is it? They very well could have been better in October. But I'm of the mind that if something is slightly out of season, take it off the menu. I've been generally not impressed by scallops at a number of places over the past month or so.

Really love the expanded informational review format! Chicago Bites is a class act from appetizer to dessert.
