And you guys are right-- there needs to be more of the &quot;shut up and eat&quot; approach to dining.  I think Food Network (and &quot;Iron Chef&quot; in particular) has brought the opposite about.
Finally, best of luck on your novels!  When I was an English Major I used to find all kinds of cool places to write-- the key is to avoid the clichéd spots like S&#039;bux.
