Southport Grocery has a top cupcake in my opinion. And as a bonus, they now have “cupcake” pancakes. Yum!
There is supposed to be a bakery/restaurant dedicated to cupcakes on Briar or Barry near Broadway. Haven’t been though, just rumors so far…

Today, I went to Southport Grocery, and got cupcakes. Later went to Bittersweet, but they didn’t have CC today. I told the sales man about the CC contest, he said to call before you go. Here is the number:773.929.1100. I wanted to buy all of the cakes, instead got four tarts. Let’s go there soon, I really really want to try their cakes!
I think Dancing David is talking about the Chocolate House, I can go there tomorrow and be the guinea pig!
